Solidly smooth and chocolaty, though lacking a punch that could take the base to loftier heights. Expect satisfaction, not havoc-wreaking exuberance.

Too sweet considering what else it delivers (or doesn’t). It’s not a terrible drinking experience, just doesn’t offer much in the way of chocolaty, creamy, or whatever else we like about chocolate milk.

Searingly sweet, perhaps in an attempt to ameliorate the un-indulgent 1% milk fat base, but instead it draws too much attention and thwarts the likely good intentions. I’m no advocate for tasteless— but this would benefit from a ‘blanding.’

Outstanding balance of (high) cream and (low) viscosity— making each sip as easy as it is rewarding. Cocoa flavor is prominently on display with a sweet, yet clean finish. 

Super thin, yet appropriately creamy with a noticeable but far from cartoonish cookies & cream flavor. It’s enjoyable, but not quite as devastatingly delicious as Perrydell Farm chocolate milk.

Delicate but confident malt flavor outshines the rest of the cast. Each sip ends with a bit of a drying conclusion, though easily remedied by taking another, and another..

Excellent mouthfeel, and a light maltiness in place of chocolate makes this memorable and rather easy to drink quickly (in small sips of course). One of the better low-fat chocolate milks I’ve had in recent times.

Akin to drinking salted, melted chocolate ice cream— if I didn't hate the words so much, I would use ‘hearty’ and ‘robust’ in the review— but I won’t despite their germaneness. Lovers of thick, creamy chocolate milk look no further.

A little more punch in flavor than the cartoned version (and seemingly a touch thicker)— but these would be negligible for someone who is not sipping them side-by-side.

Beautifully simple and enticing dichromatic carton that makes you eager to enjoy what’s inside. So what’s inside? Smooth, milky, modestly sweet and averagely chocolaty milk. You could do a lot worse.

Inoffensive, uninteresting, non-essential. Plays like standard low-fat chocolate milk and leaves you with a minor drying sensation after the sip— unless that was induced by lip-smacking in an attempt to locate a flavor that simply wasn’t there.

Less sweet (thankfully) and more chocolaty than its non-signature (?) counterpart. This carries a much more mature bravado and is confident without being ostentatious.

Strongly flavorful but fairly misguided in its approach. You’re hammered with a syrupy sweet, caramel flavor that lingers on the palate and doesn’t foster the 'whole chocolate milk' experience you expect.
