I have to believe that this product has unfortunately ‘turned’ and is not in its normal state. I’ve had lots of spoiled milk over the years, and the fruity, almost rum-like state is a telltale sign that I could smell upon first open. The ‘sell by date’ is today, and since it’s been in my possession it has been kept ice cold— so yeah.. The store only had 1 unit left; assuming it was handled poorly. :( Will endeavor to review this next time I’m in PA.

Effortlessly indulgent— 3 simple ingredients combine to form an absolutely fantastic sip-able chocolate experience, where sweetness is there every step of the way though you hardly notice.

It drinks very smoothly and pleasurably but doesn’t move the needle in any given flavor direction, leaving you with a quick, inoffensive way to get some calories down your gullet.

Sweet, smooth, malty, and creamy— thought the malt could use a bit more salt support to help accentuate it. It’s physically easy to drink, but psychologically (?) I’m left yearning for a more prominent flavor profile.

Sweet, chocolaty, and not much else. There’s a stickiness to it that is a noticeable departure from ‘milky’ and while the flavor delivers a decent initial jab, it’s fairly 2-dimensional on a 4-dimensional scale (cocoa, sweetness, cream, salt).

Pleasant base and somewhat bland upfront, though the cocoa shows up and makes an impact in the latter part of the sip— and it makes a good enough impression that you want another.

Very much like McCray’s Farm, sporting a balanced, chocolaty, satiating experience with minimal drawbacks.

Punchy cocoa with an almost caramel-like undertone, it’s immediately indulgent, deliciously balanced, and wholly satisfying.

Reminds me of high quality primer— it feels like a great base that could support much more flavor. It does well to rein in the sweetness, but without prominent cocoa, cream, or salt presence, it ultimately feels underdeveloped, though is still easily drinkable.

Identifiable as low-fat chocolate milk, though the most prominent component is a somewhat empty sweetness. Nothing offensive here, just a bit timid and easily lost in the patently average chocolate milk shuffle.

I appreciate the high cocoa-to-sweetness ratio that rightly affords chocolate the lion’s share of the limelight. The thinner than average viscosity breezes through the palate and ushers its flavor quickly and competently, but without much creamy sustain.

Refreshingly unique— a strong, grassy flavor in a low-fat chocolate milk. Aside from the sweetness lever having been leaned on a bit too heavily, this is a rather enjoyable (and some may argue ‘sensible’) pursuit.

Explosive flavor whose components work in harmony to deliver a truly rewarding and indulgent experience. There’s chocolate, malt, sweetness, salt, and a grassy cream that politely holds the door for you on the way out.

Neat combination of creamy sweetness with a prominent grassy kick in the latter part of the sip. I enjoyed the aftertaste perhaps even more than the fore-taste, and applaud the unique flavor profile.

A nigh coffee-ish maturity to the cocoa flavor that is there only if you're looking for it, but otherwise it’s a substantially built, competently delicious whole chocolate milk worthy of its glass enclosure and your refrigerator space.
