Sweeter and more overtly flavorful than its previous TruMoo port. However, the corn syrup ages poorly both over the course of the sip as well as over the course of the fridge storage. It drinks smoothly, but feels a bit candified-- if you like a syrupy-sweet chocolate milk, give this a try.
Satisfying experience with a cocoa-focus, and a saltiness that does its best to leverage the 2% base. This seems to be the standard template of reduced fat organic chocolate milk that shares many brands/labels and is becoming ubiquitous. I'm not complaining.

Sweet, cooked milk flavor that leans 'caramel-like' and is accentuated by a salty pop toward the back end which helps to mitigate the sugary rush. The box does a disservice to its beautiful light brown color (at least the straw is clear); in short, it's rather adept for a shelf-stable, reduced fat chocolate milk.

It peaks way early, and the undersweetness, while appreciated, doesn't allow for any other quality to rise to prominence. More creamy and chocolaty than sweet-- a pleasant ratio in that regard. Texture-wise, there's a drying, chalky finish with significant legs that outlasts the prematurely-exiting cream, leaving the overall score teetering on the very edge of mediocrity.
