The cream flavor is the standout feature-- and epitomizes the age-old advice of "do one thing, but do it extremely well."

It's very enjoyable, if not a little on the bland side, but I would still prefer its graceful subtlety over a lesser base burdened with too much flavor.

Absolutely crushes the 'thin-viscosity-to-infinitely-creamy' ratio that I enjoy so much-- this is the kind of base that dreams are made of. Warm, buttery Jersey cream gilds every surface that it comes in contact with, delivering a slightly malty chocolate flavor and a tsunami of pleasure that I'd happily drown in.
Oddly undersweet at first sip, until a wave of phony, cloying sweetness rushes to the 'rescue' in the latter third of the sip. Admittedly, it wrests your attention away from the thick, chalky sludgy texture. It looks chocolaty, but that doesn't translate to the drinking experience much at all-- as bad as this is, I've had significantly worse. It's not face-twisting awful, which is the best thing I can say about it.
Sweeter and more overtly flavorful than its previous TruMoo port. However, the corn syrup ages poorly both over the course of the sip as well as over the course of the fridge storage. It drinks smoothly, but feels a bit candified-- if you like a syrupy-sweet chocolate milk, give this a try.

The cocoa flavor is strong enough to poke through for a quick cameo, and its fat-starved, artificially-thickened base is less concerning than the sweetener concoction which, un-chased, will continue to devalue your oral real estate.
Sweet, cooked milk flavor that leans 'caramel-like' and is accentuated by a salty pop toward the back end which helps to mitigate the sugary rush. The box does a disservice to its beautiful light brown color (at least the straw is clear); in short, it's rather adept for a shelf-stable, reduced fat chocolate milk.
Strong but fleeting pop of cocoa flavor upfront, but soon degenerates to a drab blandness and acute astringency. It peaks way early, and the undersweetness, while appreciated, doesn't allow for any other quality to rise to prominence. The aftertaste worsens with each passing moment, causing you to scramble around for a cold french fry remnant or any other edible mass to curb the ensuing misery.
More creamy and chocolaty than sweet-- a pleasant ratio in that regard. Texture-wise, there's a drying, chalky finish with significant legs that outlasts the prematurely-exiting cream, leaving the overall score teetering on the very edge of mediocrity.
