Wow-- quite a different experience! It's shockingly under sweet, under salty, yet quite thick and deceptively creamy. A few sips into it, I'm starting to appreciate it more-- and the novelty does carry some cachet with me after having over 1,500 different chocolate milks (many of which fit into common paradigms).
Immediately sweet, and aside from a fleeting hit of cocoa, there's not much else to the experience. Hold that thought-- there's a bit of a syrupy sting to the uvula a few seconds after the swallow.
Make 'em laugh, make 'em cry… but make 'em feel…something. This looks gray, and tastes, well, gray as well. There's not much to report from a flavor standpoint, it's effectively drinkable ennui. It feels pretty good, though, and is not over sweet or funky in any way whatsoever. It's just...there. I think I broke the record for ellipses in this review, so it's at least memorable for that reason...
Intriguing combination of thick but smooth, with a strong cascade of malt flavor and a salty pinch that curbs any unwanted residuals. If you're looking to overdose on cocoa, this won't get the job done, but if you're looking to add an ice-cream-y bent to your potable portfolio, check this stuff out.
I've had Freddy Hill Farms ice cream, so I know they know how to impart flavor. They just didn't do it very effectively here, unfortunately. It's got a nice creamy body that could be saddled with a LOT more flavor. Largely bland and unoffensive, it doesn't move the needle much for a whole chocolate milk.
Sweet, chocolaty, and rather soulless beyond that. The cocoa flavor narrowly escapes 'candified' territory, and the base is more reminiscent of 2% than whole, as it washes away fairly quickly and yields to a watery/syrupy sustain rather than a creamy one. It's not bad in a pinch, and kids will like it, but for whole chocolate milk, there are likely better options nearby.
So much to like here- it's got that warmly creamy, firmly grassy body supported by.a generous salty kick that further highlights the cream flavor and deftly wraps up each sip. The cocoa flavor skews malty, making this one heck of a uniquely delicious treat.
Sweet cookie flavor with its own highly-competent cream, it's on the sweet side for chocolate milk (nearly all CnC milks are) but remains an accurate representation and should be sought out for fans of this profile, or those looking to expand their library of delicious drinkable confections.
Densely flavorful with a salty/malty bite in the latter third of each sip which provides a tasty and mouthwatering exit-- imploring you to take another sip (which you'll gladly do). The cocoa flavor is strongest upfront, and then folds gracefully into the aforementioned wave. It's extremely well-built and indulgently flavorful from beginning to end.
Wow-- the first sip will register like a construction boot to the skull, but once you settle in, you're in for a powerfully indulgent ride through chocolate peanut butter territory that you've likely not explored to this extent. In short, it's a haymaker of salty, peanutty punch wrapped up in a creamy chocolaty base that still drinks quickly-- it's a lot of flavor to handle at once. Make sure you're sitting down for this one.
Beautifully golden brown coloration and very well-balanced taste and texture across all receptors. There are no apparent spikes in flavor-- just a smooth, warmly creamy ride from top of the glass all the way to the bottom.
Luxurious base that nails the (thin) viscosity-to- (high) creaminess ratio that I enjoy so much. There's no starch to bog this down, just pure goodness that knows exactly how and where to deliver the flavor. The uniquely upfront grassy hit sets the tone for the remainder of the sip, and before you know it, you'll be pouring another glass or cracking open another pint to chase the high.
Beautiful creamline taste and texture that amplifies the other flavors, and like a true MVP, it brings out the best in the other 'players.' Sports analogies aside, this is a delicious concoction with a touch of grass in the cream, well worth slotting into (or blowing out) your caloric budget.
Quickly sweet and flavorful, but hampered by a sticky, syrupy back-of-the-throat twang and finish. It's still whole milk, but a residue seems to collect in the mouth after a few sips, distracting from what could or should be a creamy and/or chocolaty exit.

The buttery grassiness intensifies in the aftertaste and last for several minutes, allowing for delicious, lasting reflection and a uniquely satisfying conclusion to the pint. There's additional novelty to the cocoa profile, as it has not undergone the typical dutch process-- imparting a brighter, and slightly tactile cocoa presence throughout.
Luxuriously thin yet indulgently creamy, with a powerful, mature cocoa flavor and slight undersweetness that further fosters the reverence you'll experience with each draw. You will question 'Why would chocolate milk require more than 3 ingredients?'-- and this has the answer.
Beautiful creamline flavor and texture with a light to medium cocoa flavor and a modest vanilla-like finish, which is nicely unique. There's an elegance to the subtlety here that becomes more apparent with each sip. I finished the pint, and would happily go for another.
Absolute jaw-dropping flavor coming at you from all sides-- chocolaty, sweet, salty, buttery, creamy-- everything is cranked up to the max yet it remains balanced and easily drinkable. I refuse to believe that this is reduced fat (2%)-- it's in elite company even among whole chocolate milks. I could hand this to anyone in the world and be 100% confident that they would enjoy it.
The beautiful look of it may have gotten my expectations a bit too high, as there wasn't much of a flavor punch to speak of, but still drank nicely albeit on the chalky/drying side. Its creamy base could certainly shoulder more flavor, perhaps I got a somewhat blander batch than usual. In the grand scheme of things, it's still well above average, but lacking that extra gear to thrust it toward the top.
