Excellent thin, milky consistency that does well to deliver the flavor that it is tasked to carry— a flavor that I’m warming up to with each sip. It’s highly unique, and has a buttery-rum like quality but not in a nasty/boozy manner. More butter than rum, the cocoa is there but can get a little lost in the shuffle. Give this an honest try, I promise by the end you’ll appreciate the uniqueness.
Smooth, sweet, and creamy— this has all the makings of a delicious chocolate milk, but where’s the chocolate? I bet that 9 out of 10 people would taste this (blindfolded) and identify this as a vanilla milk or milkshake— not because it tastes strongly of vanilla, but because it’s sweet and devoid of any other notable flavor.
Every bit as gray as wet cement, the flavor is less remarkable and very much skews toward the ‘sweet and not much else’ region. Though, the ‘not much else’ manages to contain a mild, multi-vitaminish note, but it’s distant enough to offend only the most sensitive.
Wow, just wow. Incredibly indulgent feeling, yet easy to drink. Salty, malty, creamy— all in excess, and I love it. It’s mature, balanced, and melts in your mouth— absolutely PHENOMENAL!
Surprisingly grainy, but otherwise nicely sweet and balanced chocolate milk. Does well to preserve a creamy flavor with only 1% fat as well.
Slightly thicker and ‘fuller’ than its 355mL plastic bottle counterpart (different formulation)— in this case it works to PERFECTION. The added skim milk powder gives it a more potent milkiness that adds punch to the overall flavor. Simply one of the best chocolate milks I’ve ever had.
A perfect example of where ‘thickness’ is justified by the creaminess. This is indulgent without being ostentatious, as the cream is more prominent than the cocoa, which comes through more in the latter half of the sip— as though the cream delivers it to the tongue and tiptoes away quietly— but you appreciate the act more so than the gift itself.
Buttery and smooth— superbly drinkable for a whole milk concoction. The cocoa flavor is subtle and mainly kicks in during the latter half of the sip.
Awesomely creamy, but carries more of a sugary flavor than one of cocoa or malt. It’s not a huge detriment, but everything else is so good that it’s easy to pick on the quality that isn’t quite there. Still, a very strong recommendation— this stuff is great.
Salty, chalky, and chocolaty but has a slight earthy, dare I say, approachingly dirty taste. It’s plenty creamy as well, especially for being low fat, but it does wash away faster than expected, leaving you with the salt and chalk. This may sound more negative than it is in practice— I’m nitpicking probably because my expectations were higher.
A velvety creaminess wrests control of the wheel and steers you though each sip— a blissful ride that unfortunately ends with an empty glass.
Great milky texture and cream quotient, but in lieu of cocoa flavor is a bland sweetness that feels lost. In some ways it reminds me of a white jellybean— you taste it, and kind of like it, but have no idea what ‘flavor’ it really is.
Possibly as average a chocolate milk in all respects that I’ve had thus far. It’s plainly identifiable as chocolate milk by all 5 senses and peppers the midsection of each subjective category.
Has an almost pinkish-brown coloration, and is super-sweet above all else. I can’t locate much of any cocoa flavor— just a thin, sugary drink that emulates milk fairly well, but won’t satisfy your chocolate craving one iota.
Smooth upfront with a sweet mineral/metallic flavor blast, followed by a chalky exit and mullti-vitamin-y aftertaste. There’s a lot going on here, and while it tastes ok enough to continue, it’s not something that you would pursue for recreation.
Lots of flavor— especially salty/sweet, which provides a ‘malted milkshake’ like taste that, while amped up pretty high, doesn’t offend or feel terribly out of place. It does have a weighty feel to it, but overall it’s reminiscent of a very sweet milkshake.
Well rounded boxed chocolate milk with a thin creaminess that is appreciated. This contributes to an (admittedly) intangible good ‘feel’, which, along with the appropriate level of sweetness, does well to support its ample cocoa flavor.
Plenty sweet and chocolaty, but the texture is way over thickened— another failed attempt of emulating ‘creaminess’ does a more efficient job of hiding the creaminess the product might otherwise exhibit.
Good pop of flavor all around— just held back a bit by a powdery quality to the texture that remains in the mouth after each swallow. A smoother, milkier experience would make a world of difference.
Chocolaty and a bit sour-- which are its best aspects. The texture feels starchy, as though it’s trying to forge the creaminess that it lacks.
